Happy New Years

It's 9:26 pm on new years eve, and I just wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!! I hope everyone has as great of a 2008 as I plan on having.

Good bye 2007, you have gone down in history as ONE of the worst years ever, I will (not) fondly remember you! (Except for the baby of course!!!!!)

New roomie

Joe is moving in! Life is a changin'! We are super excited about money being less tight! Now life will be a littler bit easier since our accidents and we can prepare for baby!

Joe is someone Adam worked with at the Staples in Bothell where he did his management training! He pretty much rocks! He is alot of fun and a very nice boy. He loves Rocco so that is a total bonus, and Rocco loves him too!

I am definitely ready for the end of 2007, and so far 2008 is looking pretty AMAZING!

In case you didn't know

Today we got to see our baby! We had an ultrasound to make sure the baby was healthy and had all it's fingers and toes. Much to our delight, the baby is pretty much perfect! Here are a couple of pictures for your viewing please!

first day back to work!

Oh my gosh, i finally got to head back to work yesterday! I am not going to lie, it sucked. I got to bartend, that was cool, but my back was killing me. Not working for 8 weeks is pretty rough. (and apparently some one bitched about it the whole f-ing time)

So the point of my story is that I am super tired. Had to work at lunch today too, I think my leg may fall off.

I was soooo nice seeing everyone at work, they are some pretty cool people. I just love going to work to be social. Some people go to, oh you know, work, make money... not me, show me a good time!

Update

Just a quick update on life. I sit at home all day, clean, sometimes go to the gym, eat, pet Rocco.

Adam is working lots, he really likes his job, he is in the management training program officially. Go Adam!

We are taking a train to see Adams family next weekend I am excited to get out of town!

It's official

Last thursday, October 25, 2007, Adam and I heard the HEARTBEAT OF OUR UNBORN CHILD for the first time. It was pretty amazing!

Yes, we are having a baby!! The baby is due in May!

I just wanted to let everyone know.....

on this, the eve of my finger surgery

Well I just want everyone to know how much you all mean to me, Adam, you are my light and life I love you with all my heart and bequeath all of my worldly goods. Rocco, you are my angel..... JK!!

Guys, really my surgery is minor, I am not even being put under (to be safe for the baby), just a local anesthetic and then they will rip my hand apart and insert lots of foreign metal (some of which will be removed at a later date) and voila a perfect finger (in 6 weeks).

Anyways send lots of positive energy my way and lots of love too. See you all later, hopefully.

broken me

So on Wednesday I was doing my mommy duties and walking Rocco. We were already past the half way point (prolly about 14 blocks from home) and Rocco spots a dog he wants to talk to, with out my permission. He jets away from me, pulling along with him, my left finger! I look down, and scream bloody murder cause I have never broken a bone before, my finger was just twisty and sideways, but still very traumatizing to see. I scream to the owner of the other dog for help and she just ignores me, I swear to god, she turned her back on me, to protect her dog from my "vicious attack dog".

Long story short, I have to walk 14 blocks back home with the dog and a broken finger and an iratence (i don't know how to spell this word, and Tyler is not allowed to spell it for me) for that stupid bitch who didn't help me.

Made it to the hospital in one piece, got some xrays, shows the craziest broken bone you have ever seen in your life! Its a twisty break, it almost punctured the skin, and was extremely uncomfortable. They decide lets numb my finger and straighten it out, (sounds scary, but it didn't hurt one bit, unlike all this fucking typing) and then put a splint on and sent me home with the number of a hand specialist.

Next day, go to hand doc, guy was a total douche-bag, he did not help me or give me advise, just told me to come back in a week! WTF Mate. I was pretty pissy yesterday. So that is what I have been up to, how bout you!

School Day

So school started yesterday, and let me tell you how unprepared I was for it... no books, forgot to get a new notebook, didn't get to back to school clothes shop! It was a crazy fun day yesterday and I am ready for more. I am taking pre-calculus and nutrition. I think this term will be super hard but very rewarding in the end! I am pumped!

Friends back in town

Oh my gosh, I am so happy that my friends have moved back to Seattle. Meredith and Thomas (with Savannah and Ben in tow) are finally home! I have to say that I think that they are two of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful and gracious people I have ever had the pleasure of having in my life. I am so thankful to have them as friends. Every time I try to talk smack about someone, they always have something positive to say about that person. I love that about them!

My wish is that everyone could have a "mer and tom" in their life, if you do, I would love to know who they are, maybe get to meet them some day!

Changing life

Life is changin', and I am excited. We are getting ready to move again, I know, it seems like we move a lot. Since Adam got his new job at staples, he will be working in Magnolia and we just want to live a little closer. Adam is also trading in his car for something a bit more manageable payments wise (I love my boo!!!). We are just out to have some new adventures and save some money so we can buy a house and get another doggie for Rocco, and then start our family.

Nothing seems bleak right now, the world is a fucking rainbow and I love it! I am thankful for the crazy chaos that has consumed our lives lately cause it is bringing some good times!

wow gratitude

Well, I have really been put to the test lately. Take a look at life, think about all the things you are grateful for, now express them on a regular basis, and don't forget to keep doing it... That's where I went wrong!

YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE CONTINUALLY!

If anyone has some great pointers, that would be nice!

Back to why I really wanted to write. It was Heathers birthday the other day, so it was time to celebrate her. I love my friend sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much (is that to much?) I had school that morning and could not partake in the luxurious pedicure hour, I was sad. We started setting up for the party about two, drank lots and just got to hang out. I see her like everyday but it doesn't feel like we really get to hang, so I was glad that we had that time.
Heather made out like a f-ing bandit in the present department, if anyone deserves to be spoiled it is definitely her, she has been there for Adam and I these past few months and I am not sure what I would have done with out her. She is my person and I am so glad that I have her in my life, Thanks for being my rock!

Thanks to everyone for agreeing with me and celebrating Heather on her bday, a big shout out to our friend Carlos too!

Yesterday

Yesterday was two of my cousins graduation party (one from highschool and one with his associates). I had a pretty good time, didn't really have to talk to many people, just hung out and relaxed. Adam, Dustin and myself went and we brought Rocco along, who was amazing. I let him off the leash for a bit to run a round and he did not bother anyone. Rocco Rocks!

I liked seeing some of my family. Elise is my new fav, she has a son named Cruz and she seems to be a great mom, (My favorite thing about Elise is how much she loves her mom). The always effervescent Shalyn graced us with her presence. I love her cause she thinks I am the funniest person. It is nice to have someone appreciate you like that (or your sense of humor). Shalyn brought Christopher and Nick along, which is great! I really love those guys cause their hearts are so big, they are such great men and they are fun to have around! Shalyn is lucky to have men like that in her life everyday! It makes me thankful that Tyler has them around too, hopefully all the good that they are will rub off on him!

A "new" man

So today, July 23rd 2007, Adam got the word to "discontinue" the brace! Adam has made enough new bone (he has been known to be a good bone builder), that he does not have to wear the stupid, yet helpful, life saving brace, any more. It has been the longest (and fastest) 12 weeks of my life. I will take a picture of Adam without his brace on, soon and post it so everyone can see how sleek he looks.

My "birthday"

So today I am grateful for Heather, because with out her, we would not be having this wonderful "birthday" party today. As you all my know my birthday is on the 1st, but we are celebrating it today, for heather, who asked for today off! I personally love it, I get two parties. It works out really well cause it is almost exactly half way between my birthday and hers. So it was a blessing in disguise.

hhmmm so many thoughts

I have been using the last two days to think of all the things that I am grateful for during times of stress...


I am grateful for my past, the good the bad and the ugly. Think about it, if we didn't have the past we have, where would we be. I don't think that many people could say they aren't at least ok with the experiences they have had. Me, I am happy about my past (most of you know that it was not rose pedals and angel wings), because I am soooo strong now, and I am very grateful for that. I like knowing that new lessons are waiting to be learned from all of my experiences, new adventures are waiting for me because I am ready for them. I am excited about all the greatness that I am receiving, and will continue to receive for ever!

I am most grateful today for Rocco, for he is our doggie. Pets rocks cause they give unconditional love and devotion. I am thankful that everyday he is happy to see me, even when it doesn't feel like anyone else is. And when I am not nice, he still gives me kisses and lets me pet him. (he is very generous like that)

fun day

Well we just saw Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, and it was great! (not as good as the book of course!) The best part was just getting to hang out with friends.

I am so thankful to have wonderful people in my life!

Thank you for being friends Adam and Heather, my friends for life! (Charles and Kristin too, its just a new friendship)

all good things

I just wanted to start writing down some thoughts on a regular basis. They are mostly for me, but if someone learns something from them, that would make me happy. I only plan on having positive things on here, no bad stories, I will post things that are wonderful about the people in my life and about life it self. If you know me well then you know that I am on the path to happiness. I know I sound like a "hippie", and that is cool with me.
